Anna Cali is a makeup & special effects artist living in Chicago, IL. She has been attracted to all things eerie her entire life. Anna found a way to be a part of this world by dedicating her life to mastering the art of makeup effects.

"My first introduction to Edward Gorey was the Gashleycrumb Tinies. I remember how much I was intrigued by the illustration on the cover. When I first learned about the Goreyesque project, my immediate thought was to turn his illustrations into living characters. I decided to take the image that initially struck me so many years back and bring it to life through my craft."
